Right now, our parishes, schools, and mission activities are seen as “closed”. The truth is, our priests, deacons, fellow parishioners, family members, and teachers are all sacrificing, supporting others, and finding amazing ways to serve those who are suffering.

Without the weekly collection basket – they are also facing financial crisis.

You can give to support your parish directly, or to the Archbishop’s Catholic Appeal.  This year, a greater percentage of Appeal gifts goes to support our parishes, plus the Appeal continues to support 40 additional ministries throughout the Archdiocese of Denver.  The choice is yours!

Things you can do right now: Offer prayers, get involved with local parish’s relief efforts, give financially what you can – no matter how big or small, and pass this message on to a few other people on social media, email, or by phone call. Don’t forget to include the hashtag #passthebasket when you share what you and your local community are doing on social media.

Together, we will make it through this. When we do – may we appreciate the Mass, the Eucharist, and our communities more than ever before! Let us ensure our parishes are open and able to be local witnesses to Christ.
